The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with applicable Andorran data protection legislation, in particular Qualified Law 29/2021 and its implementing and amending texts.

Data that may be collected

When a user contacts Top Gos through the website or directly using the contact details provided, Top Gos may process, among other things:

• first and last name;
• email address;
• phone number;
• home address, for picking up and dropping off the dog or for in-home sitting services;
• information about the dog (name, breed, age, behaviour, special or medical needs);
• content of messages sent through the contact form;
• documents, photographs or veterinary information voluntarily provided;
• information necessary to establish and manage the service relationship.

While using the website, certain technical data may also be generated, such as the IP address, the date and time of connection, the browser used, or certain log data necessary for the operation and security of the service.

Purposes of processing

The data may be processed for the following purposes:

• responding to requests addressed to Top Gos;
• understanding and managing a request for a service (walking, grooming or sitting);
• arranging a prior consultation, pick-up or visit;
• preparing a quote or a service proposal;
• applying pre-contractual measures requested by the data subject;
• managing and carrying out the service once a booking is confirmed;
• carrying out the administrative follow-up of the relationship with clients;
• ensuring the operation, maintenance and security of the website;

At present, the data collected through the website is not used to create advertising profiles, behavioural advertising or automated decisions. Top Gos does not currently use the contact form to automatically subscribe users to a newsletter or commercial communications.

Legal bases

Depending on the nature of the processing, it may be based on:

• the application of pre-contractual measures taken at the request of a person wishing to request a service or obtain a quote;
• the performance of a contract when a service is booked with Top Gos;
• compliance with a legal obligation applicable to Top Gos;

• consent, when specifically required for a particular processing activity.

Retention period

Personal data is retained for a period proportionate to the purpose for which it was collected.

When a contact request does not lead to a booking, the corresponding data may be retained for a maximum period of 24 months from the last exchange, in order to allow follow-up of the request, unless a different period is required to comply with a legal obligation or for the establishment, exercise or defence of claims.

When a service is booked with Top Gos, the necessary data is retained for the entire duration of the business relationship and, subsequently, for the periods required to comply with applicable legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Technical data and security logs are retained for as long as necessary for their purpose and, when managed by a technical provider, in accordance with the obligations applicable to that provider.

Once the corresponding periods have elapsed, the data is deleted, anonymised or, where its retention remains legally necessary, archived or blocked for the corresponding period.

Recipients of the data

Personal data is intended primarily for Top Gos, SLU. It is not sold or rented to third parties.

To the extent necessary for the provision of the services, it may be accessible to:

• technical providers involved in hosting, the contact form, maintenance or security of the website;
• Top Gos's walkers, groomers or sitters who are directly involved in providing the requested service;
• administrations, authorities or competent bodies where there is a legal or regulatory obligation to do so.

Each recipient only accesses the data necessary for the corresponding purpose.

Hosting and international transfers

The website is hosted by Vercel Inc., headquartered in the United States, whose infrastructure may distribute data across servers located in the European Union or other countries.

The use of a hosting provider located outside Andorran territory means that certain data may be made available to a provider located abroad. Top Gos ensures that its providers apply appropriate security and data protection measures.

If Top Gos uses other providers established in other countries in the future, any transfers will be assessed and regulated in accordance with the applicable requirements.

Rights of individuals

In accordance with Andorran data protection legislation, any data subject may exercise, under the conditions provided for by law:

• right of access;

• right to restriction of processing;

Data security

Top Gos applies technical and organisational measures suited to the nature of the data processed, in order to preserve, as far as possible, its confidentiality, integrity and availability, and to limit the risks of loss, alteration, disclosure or unauthorised access.

Changes to the privacy policy

This policy may evolve in line with changes in legislation, the website, the features offered or the technical tools used by Top Gos.

The version published on the website will be the one applicable at the time of consultation.
